Women + AI,
coming to Austin.
I'm launching the Austin chapter of Women + AI — a community that started on Substack and has been selling out dinners in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Our first Austin event is August 3, 2026.
First Austin Event
August 3, 2026
An intimate evening of great food, natural wine, and even better conversation. Space is limited to keep the night personal.
RSVP on Luma →Women + AI is less like a tech event and more like a smart dinner party. It brings together curious, ambitious women — most of them not engineers — to talk honestly about how AI is showing up in their work and their lives. No jargon, no gatekeeping, no pressure to already be an expert.
The community was founded by Kylee Hayden and has been quietly building a following through her Substack, Quietly Ahead. After watching the San Francisco and Los Angeles dinners sell out, I raised my hand to bring it to Austin — and I’m leading the chapter here.
How the night flows.
About two hours, thirty-something women, one long table. Here’s the shape of the evening.
Arrive & mingle
Get a glass of natural wine, settle in, meet the room.
Girl dinner
Seated, family-style, with real conversation prompts at each table — not icebreakers.
Panel & Q&A
Two women share how they actually use AI in their work. Conversational, personal, never a product pitch.
Open mingle
Keep the conversations going and trade info before the night wraps.
Who should come.
Any woman in the Austin area who’s curious about AI and wants to talk about it with interesting people over dinner. Founders, creatives, operators, advisors, people mid-career-pivot — the common thread is curiosity, not credentials. If you’ve been meaning to understand what all of this actually means for your work, this is the room for you.
Save your seat.
The first Austin dinner is August 3, 2026, and space is limited. Grab a ticket before it sells out.
