Inside Block.

Head of Strategy & Ops across Corporate Affairs. Previously Investor Relations.

I joined Block (then Square) in 2019 as an Investor Relations associate and was promoted three times before moving into my current role leading Strategy & Operations across Corporate Affairs. My career here has been defined by one thing: figuring out how to tell the right story to the right audience at the right time.

In Investor Relations, I managed the quarterly earnings process end-to-end — shareholder letters, prepared remarks, Q&A — working weekly with Block’s CFO and COO. I was the key external spokesperson for our IR team, building relationships across top-tier investment firms and sell-side analysts.

That IR background is my competitive advantage. I know how to take complex, cross-functional information and turn it into a clear narrative — whether the audience is Wall Street or the C-suite.

Investor Relations Director (promoted 3x)

What I do now.

My role is the connective tissue across Corporate Affairs. I orchestrate cross-functional teams spanning Policy, Communications, Legal, Regulatory, and Investor Relations — translating strategic priorities into a cohesive external narrative and an operating plan that actually ships.

Day to day, that looks like: leading the development of white papers and policy briefs, building operating rhythms that keep leadership aligned, managing up to keep executives informed and unblocked, identifying reputational risk before it becomes a problem, and defining Block’s digital brand strategy across company and IR channels.

I’m essentially a one-person operation — I scope the work, build the frameworks, drive cross-functional alignment, and execute. No playbook, no predecessor. I work best when there’s a blank page and room to figure it out.

Before Block.

I started my career in equity research at J.P. Morgan in New York, working as an associate for the #1 ranked Institutional Investor analyst covering retail. I built models, published deep-dive reports, and initiated coverage on a $10B-market-cap company.

Before that, I interned at Barclays in healthcare distribution research and at Luther King Capital Management in Fort Worth. I studied finance at TCU’s Neeley School of Business and was part of the Roach Honors College.

The through-line has always been the same: take something complex, find the story inside it, and make it understandable.
